Color plus texture equals fun!

Inspired by Bohus Stickning techniques, these mittens combine stranded knitting with strategically-placed purl stitches that add texture and blend the color gradient.

Mittens are worked in the round from cuff to top. Thumb is picked up from held stitches along with a few pick up and knits.
The mitten tip is beautifully rounded, and the thumb shaping is part welt part flap for an excellent fit.
